About these terms

These terms apply to all quotes, bookings, works and promotional offers provided by Landmark Trades Electrical in New South Wales and Landmark Electrical in Victoria (“Landmark”, “we”, “us”). By accepting a quote or booking a job you accept these terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Quotes and pricing

• Quotes are free and provided without obligation.
• All advertised and promotional prices are starting prices and are subject to an on-site inspection. Where a job requires additional work, materials or access, we will quote that work before starting.
• You will receive a written price before any chargeable work begins. We do not carry out additional chargeable work without your approval.
• Unless stated otherwise, advertised prices include GST and discount thresholds are calculated on the invoice total including GST.

Current promotional offers

Spend More, Save More — up to 15% off

Book your jobs together and save. Discounts apply to a single invoice for work completed at one address, based on the invoice total including GST:

• The maximum discount available under this offer is 15% of the invoice total, which applies to invoices of $3,000 or more (inc GST).
• The offer excludes advertised fixed-price specials. Work charged at a fixed-price special does not count towards a spend tier and is not discounted.
• The offer applies to one invoice and cannot be split across multiple invoices, jobs or addresses to reach a higher tier.
• The offer must be presented or mentioned before you accept the quote.
• This offer cannot be combined with the seniors discount or any other coupon, special or advertised offer.

15% seniors discount

• Available to holders of a valid Australian Seniors Card or Pensioner Concession Card.
• Please mention the discount when you call to book so we can confirm the offer that applies to your job, and show your card to the technician on site before work begins. We cannot apply the discount retrospectively.
• The discount applies to the labour component of the invoice.
• This discount cannot be combined with Spend More, Save More or any other coupon or offer.

Fixed-price specials

The following advertised prices are starting prices for a standard installation and are subject to site inspection:

• $99 — Home Electrical Inspection & Switchboard Tune-Up. Covers a safety inspection at one residential address, including testing your safety switches, tightening switchboard connections, identifying worn or unsafe items, and a report of what we found. Any rectification or replacement work identified is quoted separately.
• $185 — Ceiling Fans Installed. Price is per fan, for installation at an existing, compliant ceiling fan point. New wiring, a new fan point, or the supply of the fan itself are not included and will be quoted before work starts.
• $299 — Whole-Home Surge Protection. Price is for a standard single-phase switchboard with available space. Switchboards requiring additional space, an upgrade, or three-phase protection will be quoted separately.
• $399 — Smart Security Camera Light (PSA SensorGuard Plus). Price is for installation at an existing, compliant external light point within Wi-Fi range. New wiring or a new light point is not included.
• Only one fixed-price special applies per customer per day, and fixed-price specials cannot be combined with Spend More, Save More or the seniors discount.

Bookings, call-out fees and after-hours work

• We offer a $0 call-out fee for bookings made between 7:00am and 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. This includes emergency call-outs during those hours. Additional charges may apply to bookings outside those hours.
• Emergency electrical work is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including public holidays. After-hours rates apply.
• If you are unable to provide safe access to the work area at the agreed time, a non-attendance fee may apply.

Payment

• Landmark is a cash-on-delivery (COD) business. Payment is due on completion of the work unless an account application has been approved in advance.
• This applies to every quote and invoice unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Lifetime labour guarantee

We guarantee our workmanship for life where the work was carried out in accordance with our recommendation and the fault relates to that workmanship. The guarantee does not cover:

• faults arising from a manufacturer or product defect, which are covered by the relevant manufacturer’s warranty;
• work carried out by others, or alterations made to our work after completion;
• damage caused by misuse, storm, flood, pests, or other events outside our control;
• work where you declined our recommendation and instructed a different approach.

Offers — general conditions

• Only one special, coupon or promotional offer will be honoured per customer per day.
• Offers must be presented or mentioned before acceptance of the quote.
• Offers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be applied to an invoice already issued.
• Offers apply to residential work in our published service areas unless stated otherwise.
• We may vary or withdraw any offer at any time. Work already quoted and accepted is not affected.

Your privacy

We will not provide your information to third parties without your approval, except where required for tax, insurance, warranty or supplier purposes, or where required by law.
