Downlight installation
LED downlights are the most common lighting job we do. We install new downlights, replace old halogens with LEDs, and fix downlights that flicker, buzz or have stopped working.
Halogen to LED upgrades
Old halogen downlights run hot and use several times the power of LEDs. We remove the halogen fittings and their transformers and fit new LED downlights, often using the existing holes.
New downlight layouts
We plan the number and spacing of downlights for the room so the light is even, without dark patches between fittings or glare where you sit.
Insulation-safe downlights
Downlights that can be covered by ceiling insulation carry an IC-4 rating. We fit IC-4 rated fittings so your insulation can stay in place over them.
Colour and dimming
Warm white suits living areas and bedrooms, and cool white suits kitchens and laundries. Tri-colour downlights let you pick either at the switch, and we pair dimmable downlights with LED-compatible dimmers.
Downlight repairs
