A 3-in-1 unit does the job of three fittings in one ceiling cut-out: heat lamps or a heater for winter mornings, a light, and an exhaust fan to clear steam.

What we install
IXL Tastic 3-in-1 units
Heat lamps, a centre light and an exhaust fan in one fitting. Available with two or four heat lamps depending on the size of the bathroom.
Fan-forced heater units
Units that blow warm air rather than using heat lamps, for a softer heat without the bright glow.
Wall switches
Each unit comes with its own multi-button switch so heat, light and fan work separately. We replace the old switch plate to match.
Ducting
The exhaust is ducted outside through the roof or eaves, so steam does not end up in the ceiling space.
Replacing an old heater
Like-for-like swaps
If your new unit has the same cut-out size as the old one, the swap is quick and leaves no patching.
Different sizes
Where the cut-out or joist spacing differs, we adjust the opening and let you know about any ceiling patching in the quote.
Circuit check
Heat lamp units draw a fair amount of power. We make sure the circuit is rated for it and add safety switch protection if it is missing.
Common questions
How much does it cost to run a bathroom heater?
Heat lamp units use a lot of power while on, but only run for short periods. A timer switch avoids them being left on.
Can you replace my old Tastic with a new one?
Yes. Old units are one of the most common swaps we do, and matching sizes make it a short job.
Do I need a new switch?
Usually. New units come with their own switch, and we fit it in place of the old one.
